May 18th: Time to reflect about the last 3 weeks. It was an amazing tour full of new experiences and adventures. New impressions about countries we had never been before.
Last evening surrounded by family and friends we started to tell some stories and we easily found out that some of them we had already forgotten… so many things happened …. even writing the Blogs did not help as we could not capture everything in detail…. we believe over time all the stories will come back and who knows maybe we really write a book.
Our last stint today brought us back to Germany. Are we sad that the trip is over? Very good question…. three weeks on the road …. driving nearly 9000km … we spent day in day out together…. and guess what we still talk to each other😂😂. So we are not sad…
If you ever go on such a tour make sure you select the right partner(s). The chemistry between the participants need to work… silence need to be possible, respect and empathy are also a MUST.
If you ask now what was best in the last 3 weeks…. very difficult…. maybe that we came back healthy and save…. and that we got the Chance to make this trip. We are helpful for all the help we experienced from family and friends during those days. Thanks a lot to all of you. It is a real good feeling to know you all are around us and that you are there if needed!!! We will make sure we will give you back something in return to you.
At the end we are back… and that is great.
We would like to close with the following: A lot of people talk about such trips but never do it… WE DID IT! We can only encourage others if you get the chance do it…. you will never regret it.
